Harry Nuriev (b. 1984) is the recipient of the 2026 Cœur d’Art Award, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to art and design. A New York– and Paris–based artist, architect, and interior and furniture designer, he is also the founder and creative director of Crosby Studios, an interior architecture and design studio established in 2014.

Nuriev’s multidisciplinary practice spans immersive environments, virtual installations, public spaces, and object design, all informed by Transformism—a movement he coined to describe a practice rooted in transformation and the creation of transformative experiences drawn from the world around him. His work was recently exhibited at the Louvre Museum as part of Louvre Couture, the museum’s first exhibition dedicated to fashion and one of the most-visited exhibitions in its history. His installation represents a rare instance of a living artist being exhibited at the Louvre.

Patrick A. Gerschel (1946–2025) is the recipient of the 2026 Cœur de Philanthropie Award (presented posthumously) in recognition of his role as a founding figure of American Friends of the Louvre. Patrick served as its inaugural Treasurer from 2002 to 2024, shaping the organization’s financial stewardship and supporting numerous major initiatives through both leadership and philanthropy. He also held leadership roles at prominent cultural and educational institutions in the United States and France and was recognized by the French government as an Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and a Chevalier of the Légion d’honneur.

Beyond hi work with AFL, he was also a distinguished financier, real estate executive, and cultural leader with deep ties to Lazard Frères, where he served in senior roles including Partner and Vice Chairman of Lazard Realty, before founding Gerschel & Company. Educated at Cornell University and New York University, he built a reputation as a disciplined, globally minded investor with broad experience across finance, real estate, insurance, and technology.
